BISHOP DAVID OYEDEPO TURNS 58

Bishop David Oyedepo yesterday turned 58 years. the Man of God who is the General Overseer of Living Faith Church aka Winners Chapel.
Here is a little biography of the Man of God:
On September 27, 1954 David Olaniyi Oyedepo was born in Osogbo but is a native Omu Aran, Kwara into a religiously mixed family: his father,Ibrahim, was a Muslim healer and his mother, Dorcas, was a member of the Eternal Order of the Cherubim and Seraphim Movement (C&S), a branch of the Aladura movement in Nigeria. He was raised by his grandmother in Osogbo, who inculcated into him the virtues of Christian life via the early morning prayers which she attended with him. She also taught him the importance of tithing. David was “born again” in 1969 through the influence of his teacher, one Ms. Betty Lasher, who took special interest in him during his high school days. He studied architecture at Kwara State Polytechnic and worked briefly with the Federal Ministry of Housing in Ilorin before resigning to concentrate on missionary work. Oyedepo also gained a Ph.D in Human Development from Honolulu University, Hawaii, United States of louvain lakasi America.
Bishop David received a mandate from God through an 18 hour long vision in May 1981 to liberate the world from all oppression of the devil through the preaching of the word of faith. This is the inaugural vision that led to the founding of the Living Faith Church World Wide (LFCWW), first called Liberation Faith Hour Ministries, in 1981. Two years after, on 17 September 1983, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, ordained David and his wife, Florence Abiola Akano (now known as Faith Abiola Oyedepo) to become pastors also officially commissioned the newly started church of Oyedepo. Five years after, Oyedepo was ordained a Bishop.
Living Faith Church (AKA Winners Chapel) started in Kaduna, but moved to Lagos, the former capital of Nigeria in September 1989 to start a new branch of His Church, after receiving an instruction from God to reach out to the population in Lagos. This Church in Lagos grew to become the International headquarters of Living Faith Church, with a constantly increasing flow of crowds spilling over to adjacent roads, and on decks of uncompleted buildings nearby, compelling people to stand for hours to listen to His teachings. This led to the building of the renowned Faith Tabernacle, as instructed by God.
Oyedepo is the wealthiest preacher in Nigeria with a net worth of over USD $150 million. The church he pastors, owns four private jets and they own buildings all around the world, including London and the United States. Oyedepo is an acclaimed author and publisher who has written over 70 titles apart from periodicals. He is also Chairman/Publisher of Dominion Publishing House (DPH), a publishing arm of his ministry. DPH has over 4 million prints in circulation to date. Through him, Covenant University, Landmark University, Faith Academy and Kingdom Heritage Schools have been established to equip the youth for impact.

JIGAWA WOMAN GIVES BIRTH TO HALF HUMAN, HALF GOAT

Woman supposedly gives birth to half-human, half-goat in Jigawa

And yet another bizarre story. Uhhhhh! This time coming from Jigawa. A woman supposedly gave birth to what you see above; a baby with goat legs and no neck, at the General hospital in Jahun, Jigawa State.

How is this even possible? And please I don't want to hear witches and wizards...:-). What exactly are we looking at here?

MEET THE WORLD'S POOREST PRESIDENT

Meet The World`s “Poorest President”
***donating 90 percent of his earnings to charitable causes.
*** earned most enviable reputation

***He lives in a farmhouse
***Uruguay ranks as the second least corrupt country in Latin America

While our Nigerian leaders are being berated for refusing to declare their assets publicly and demanding astronomical pay rise to add to the already exorbitant allowances they receive, the President of Uruguay, José Mujica is getting world wide recognition and respect for donating 90 percent of his earnings to charitable causes.

He has earned what most people would call an enviable reputation as the “poorest,” or the “most generous,” president in the world. His nickname, “el presidente mas pobre” translates to “poorest president”.

The President said in a recent interview that the only big item he owns is his Volkswagen Beetle car, valued at $1,945 dollars (about N308,283) . He earns a salary of $12,500 a month (N1,981,250), but only keeps $1,250(N198,125) for himself, donating the rest to charity.

He lives in a farmhouse which is under his wife’s name, Lucía Topolansky, a Senator, who also donates part of her salary.

The 77 year-old who has been Uruguay’s president since March 1, 2010 told El Mundo, “I do fine with that amount; I have to do fine because there are many Uruguayans who live with much less.”

It was also reported that under his stewardship, Uruguay has become known for low levels of corruption. The South American country ranks as the second least corrupt country in Latin America in Transparency International’s global corruption index.

Yahoo News reported that the President has no bank accounts, no debts, and he enjoys the companionship of his dog, Manuela. When his term is over, the President hopes to rest even more peacefully in his farmhouse, along with his wife and his inseparable dog.

There is something about leading by example. When you do, it becomes easier for other people to follow.

‘I am not wanted by the Police’ – Davido releases statement

Pop star Davido has released an official statement denying the news of him being wanted by the Nigerian Police Force over the on-going assault case involving him and a taxi driver.
On Saturday, September 16, 2012, Crime Digest of Punch Newspapers reported that the Assistant Inspector General of Police had ordered the arrest of the popular pop singer.
Davido however debunks the news in his statement released to NET a day later after the news broke;
I want to assure all my beloved fans and friends that, I am not wanted by the police and no officer in the Nigerian police gave an order for my arrest. I went to the police some weeks ago to give a statement and cleared my name‘, Davido said in the statement released through his manager Asa Asika.
The 19-year-old insists that he did not beat up the now-popular Taxi man Femi Ajibola who claims he was assaulted by Davido and that even Susan (Davido’s supposed lady-friend who hired the Taxi man’s services) has denied the news too.
I did not beat up any taxi driver and the lady that hired the taxi driver and all those that are involved in this matter have made statements to the police and none of them mentioned my name except the taxi driver who claims that a large sum of money was missing in his taxi. In fact the lady in question stated that she was not beaten by anyone and that nobody assaulted the taxi driver.‘, Davido explains.
He laments that he is being blackmailed but he will not give in to it
This is a case of blackmail, and I have resolved not to succumb to any blackmail for money. And to all those that are involved in this conspiracy to bring me down, I want to remind you that God Almighty himself got me to where I am today in my music career and you will not succeed in your devilish efforts to bring me down‘.
His manager had this to add: ’These are all false. I’m sure you all know we have been in the states shooting videos for the last two weeks‘, Asa Asika says.
Davido returns to Nigeria on Sunday, September 23, 2012.

Latest Twist On The Death Of Wunmi Adebayo!

This Update on the murder of Wunmi Adebayo, a Tai Solarin Student will shock you, and it should serve as a lesson to Ladies who run after big boys without knowing the source of their income.

Peradventure you haven’t heard about the death of  Wunmi  Adebayo then, do so ON BIZZARE NEWS

It was reported that Wunmi was killed few days ago by armed robbers at her boyfriend’s apartment in Ijebu Ode. Well, there is a new development in the story now, as her boyfriend has confessed to the Police that he killed Wunmi.

He just didn’t confess, but a source said Wunmi’s parents didn’t believe his story that she was shot by armed robbers, so they had to invoke her spirit (a common practice in many parts of Nigeria, particularly where the circumstances surrounding the death of a person is suspicious. When this is done, the killer is tormented by the spirit of the deceased until he or she confesses.)
After being continuously tormented, the alledged boyfriend is said to have confessed to the murder this morning. According to the confession of the robber, Wunmi came to his house unannounced and just barged in.
When she entered, she met him and his friends drinking and making merry with guns on the table. On seeing this, Wunmi was shocked, scared and tried to run, but was caught. She was then forced at gun point to go back inside by the guy and his friends. On getting back inside the house, they beat her, raped her, then shot her in other to cover their dark secret.
The boyfriend, then shot himself as well, in other to set an alibi for him self and build the “robbery story” which is currently been circulated today. Since Wunmi is no more to tell her story, he thought he would have easily gotten away with the murder, and no one will discover the true nature of what really happened.
This is the new turn of events in Wunmi Adebayo’s story and From all indication, Wunmi was indeed a victim of circumstance. May her gentle soul rest in peace.

WOMAN GIVES BIRTH TO HORSE IN EDO CHURCH

Worshippers of the World Liberation Ministry located along old Sapele-Benin express road on Tuesday took to their heels during a prophesy programme when a female member delivered a horse.

The horse was however dead by the time Journalists visited the church.

It was gathered that the woman whose identity was not yet known started screaming during the prayer session and began to bleed from the v*g*na before the horse came out.

The General Overseer of the church, Evangelist Silva Wealth, said he was still amazed at what came out of the woman.

The horse delivered by the woman in an Edo State church on Tuesday.

He told Journalists that during prayers a revelation came that there was a woman with an issue and that something was blocking her womb.

Silva said as prayers intensified, the woman started screaming and bleeding started when the object came out.

The cleric said he couldn’t confirm whether the horse was dead or alive because he didn’t go near it.

“I can’t describe the object. We have seen people that vomited several things during our service but not this type of thing. God has been blessing our ministry with prophesies and miracles, “he said.

People rushed to the church to catch a glimpse of the horse when news of the delivery filtered into town.

The escalating incidence of students shot dead by dare devil men of the underworld is frightening to say the least. Her corpse has been deposited at the mortuary. Wunmi was the first child of her parents and friends say she was very jovial, friendly and kind hearted. Her candlelight procession will hold tomorrow at skyfield in .
May her soul rest in peace.

BARACK OBAMA AND RAPPER NICKI MINAJ IN A LITTLE FACEOFF WITH WAR OF WORDS

A few days ago, rapper Lil’ Wayne released his ‘Dedication 4’ mixtape; attention was immediately brought to a track called ‘Mercy’, simply because of label mate’s Nicki Minaj surprises utterances.
Nicki rapped on the song that she would be voting for Republican candidate Mitt Romney come November 6. ‘I’m a Republican voting for Mitt Romney, You lazy bitches is fucking up the economy’, Minaj rhymed.
Well Obama during an interview with Orlando radio station Power 95.3 addressed Nicki’s verse stating;
I’m not sure that’s actually what happened. I think there’s a song on there – a little rap that said that. But she likes to play different characters, so I don’t know what’s going on there’, Obama said
The President also added that his daughters Sasha and Malia don’t listen to Ms. Minaj that much. Ouch!
Minaj then responded to Obama’s statement on Twitter by settling what could have gone the other way if not handled carefully;
Ha! Thank you for understanding my creative humor & sarcasm Mr. President, the smart ones always do… *sends love & support* @BarackObama.

GIRL WAKES UP IN MORTUARY 2 DAYS AFTER DEATH

Twenty-one-year-old Adora Ugwu is planning to be a soldier. She also wants to secure admission into one of the country’s tertiary institutions. She had put her hands on the plough of her latter
dream by writing the last UMTE....But, as she was going for the other one, she died. Two days after the lady wrote the examination, she was heading for her home state of Enugu for the recruitment into the Nigerian Army when the vehicle she was travelling had a head-on collision with a similar minibus.
The result: her death and that of 25 others who included four discharged members of batch B National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).
Twenty of them including Adora reportedly died on the spot in headon collision involving two 15 passengers’ capacity buses, each, belonging separately to Peace Mass Transit Limited and the Enugu State Transport Company (ENTRACO). The buses had registration number BENUE – XB 504 TKP, ENUGU – XL 812 UWN respectively.
The ghastly crash occurred along Enugu- Markudi express road, at Amoka in Udi, Enugu State on June 20th. Immediately after the crash which was promptly reported to the Enugu State Command of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) by its Delta State Sector Commander Lukas Ikpi who met the accident while travelling on the road, the dead including Adora were evacuated to Our Saviour Hospital morgue at 9th mile. But she was not meant to stay among the dead for long.
Two days after she had been confined to the mortuary. The parents had wept and mourned, most of them especially the mother was devastated, but the dead must be buried. And this was what Adora’s relative intended doing: bury her two day-old corpse. At the morgue, the attendants were putting in place all the deeds of mortification when suddenly there was a sound; a sneeze, it was. They looked around, then another one! Behold, the body being prepared for claim by the relatives had just sneezed.
The dead don’t sneeze, they reasoned. Adora, whose body was being prepared, is not dead after all. When Saturday Mirror asked her what she felt on her first realization of consciousness, she said: “I thought we were all sleeping. When I asked people around where I was, she said they said I had an accident.
“I cannot remember anything that happened when I was at the mortuary.” When Adora was discovered to be alive, her relative who had come to identify her was immediately called phoned the others from the morgue. Tears turned to felicitation. From the morgue she was later transferred to the Federal Orthopaedic Hospital in Enugu where is currently receiving treatment and spoke with Saturday Mirror.
Adora, told Saturday Mirror that she hails from Enugu state. She said she attended a secondary school in North-Bank Markudi, Benue State adding that she was in Benue to take her JAMB after which she was travelling down to Enugu for army recruitment when the accident occurred.
